Sherlock+ coat
Dear Yuletide writer,

First of all thank you for doing this. I am so excited to be taking part in my first Yuletide this year and I know that I am going to love whatever you write for me.

I am a huge angst and Hurt/comfort fan, anything that has a character going through some kind of turmoil and I am in love. I particularly love the aftermath of events and the interactions between the characters.

In terms of what I like/don't like any kind of physical/mental harm is fine, go as far as you like as long as there is some resolution at the end. I really, really don't like character death so PLEASE don't kill them!

I like gen, pre-slash and slash, I'm not a huge fan of actual full on sex, just the beginnings of a relationship really kissing, petting, cuddling etc.

Henry Morgan, Abraham, Jo Martinez

I am in love with Forever. I have just watched episode 2 but by the time Yuletide rolls around I will have caught up. I love the Henry/Abe father/son relationship so would love something with those two. I can't wait to see how/if they're going to deal with Jo finding out the truth about Henry.

Ripper Street

Edmund Reid, Homer Jackson, Bennett Drake

I am in love with Forever. I have just watched episode 2 but by the time Yuletide rolls around I will have caught up. I love the Henry/Abe father/son relationship so would love something with those two. I can't wait to see how/if they're going to deal with Jo finding out the truth about Henry.

Edward Buchan, Joseph Chandler, Ray Miles

Thank you again

Sherlock+ 3 patch problem
Help almighty flist! I need some information for a new suits fic that I am working on. I know that when people get arrested in my fair country of the UK they are given a speech about their rights. Do they have a similar thing in the US? If so, what is it? Basically I need to know the procedures for someone getting arrested in the US. I have tried to google it but all I keep getting is the UK statement, no information on the US.

Thanks in advance guys.

16th-Jan-2011 09:27 pm - The Kings Speech
So I've just gotten back from seeing the Kings Speech, and you guys. If you haven't seen it then you really really should. This movie is amazing, I can't even describe it. It was so not what I was expecting, and surprisingly funny. You'll have never heard that famous King George VI speech in quite the same way before. Colin Firth was amazing, just brilliant, he so deserves to win a Golden Globe tonight for best actor. Geoffrey Rush was equally brilliant in his supporting role alongside Colin Firth, they played so well against each other.

Okay, so now that I have had my little ramble I'm off again to carry on revising the regularity theory of causation. Oh yay!!

Two halves
Okay, I am dissapointed. Where is all the Merlin squee. After a few meh episodes, my love was waning, but then I get this episode. This was Merlin at it's best. My boys are so back!!!
Sherlock+ is it nice not being me must b
Okay, so complete fail on my part. I am still alive in case anyone was wondering. I had an amazing holiday with thisissirius there are several photos of us doing strange and stupid things, which I will upload soon I hope, but right now RL is kicking my arse.

I came back from holiday to find that my little brother, who is actually 19, but still my little brother is moving out with his fiancee. Now that would be okay if his fiancee wasn't from Belgium and they weren't moving to Belgium, which they are. Also he is going to be a dad, so not only am I losing my little brother but also the chance to see my niece/nephew more than a couple of times a year which sucks.

In good news, well relatively I am back at uni. Second year is so hard. Seriously. It is kicking my arse right now and I've only been back for 4 days. I've opted to take just Philosophy this year, which was my best subject last year, but right now I am spedning a lot of the time just confused. I'm sure it'll click into place soon, but for the time being I am trying not too pull my hair out as I stare at Plato's Apology for the 100th time tonight. But some sadistic part of me is really enjoying being back, I really missed it.

Anyway, because I need a break, and I saw this from someone else on my flist and I have never done it.

Hey guys. How are you all? I haven't really posted anything not Sherlock related for a long time, so I thought I'd stop in and say hi to anyone I may have neglected whilst squeeing over my new love, Sherlock.

Anyway, not that you'll even notive but. I'm not going to be here from friday, until two weeks monday. I am going to FLORIDA with thisissirius. It's going to be all kinds of amazing and epic and I can't wait, I'm getting too excited now.

In not so good news, well it is and it isnt thisissirius is leaving me to go to university. I am so excited for her and I know she will be amazing, but she's moving away, which is going to be all kinds of weird as we have literally lived around the corner from each other for the last 8 years. So we're going out tonight for her leaving do with the peeps at work, which is going to be fun, can't wait.

So yes, anyway I'll see you all in a couple of weeks, hope you have good ones.
